Your Laser Hair Removal Consultation - £10 is redeemed off your treatment price. Before starting laser hair removal, every client must attend a consultation and patch test. This allows us to assess your skin and hair, make sure the treatment is suitable for you and create a treatment plan. During your consultation, your laser specialist will discuss: * The areas you would like treated * Your hair growth, skin type and treatment goals * Any medical conditions, medications or recent treatments * How laser hair removal works * How many sessions you may need * Expected results, aftercare and pricing Please be completely honest when answering the consultation questions. Some medications, health conditions, recent sun exposure or changes to your skin may mean that treatment needs to be postponed or adjusted. Your Patch Test A small patch of the treatment area will be tested using the laser. This helps us select safe and effective settings for your skin and allows us to see how your skin responds. The patch test is quick and usually feels like a small, warm flick against the skin. You may notice temporary warmth or redness afterwards, which should settle quickly. Your full treatment cannot be completed on the same day as your consultation. You will need to wait the required safety period after your patch test before booking your first session. How to Prepare for Your Consultation Please arrive with the treatment area clean and free from: * Fake tan or gradual tanning products * Moisturiser, oils or body lotions * Deodorant * Perfume * Makeup, if the face is being treated Avoid sunbeds and excessive sun exposure before your appointment. Please let us know if you have recently been abroad, developed a tan or experienced any sunburn. Do not wax, tweeze, thread or epilate the area before your consultation, as the laser needs the hair follicle to be present. You can continue to shave between appointments. For your consultation and patch test, we may need to see a small amount of visible hair growth so that we can assess the colour and thickness of the hair. Please follow any preparation instructions provided when booking. Once your patch test has been approved, you will be advised to shave the treatment area before your appointment. Shaving removes the hair above the skin while leaving the follicle in place for the laser to target. Please continue to avoid waxing, tweezing, threading and epilating throughout your laser course.
